5 cups of Rolled Oats
1/2 cup of Walnut Pieces
1/2 cup of Blanched Almond Pieces
1/2 cup of Raisins
2 tbs Ground Flax Seed
1 tbs Wheat Bran
2 tbs Cane Sugar
Mix ingredients in a large bowl and store in air tight container in pantry.
1 tsp Baking powder
3/4 cup Buckwheat flower
1 cup unsweetened Soya milk
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, drop spoonfulls into hot greased pan, turn when bubbles appear.
Serve with Maple syrup. Enjoy!
1 cup steel-cut or rolled oats
1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups water
4 tsp chopped walnuts
4 tsp brown sugar
In a saucepan, combine oats, cranberries, salt, cinnamon and water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until the oats are tender, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes.
Spoon into 4 warmed individual bowls and sprinkle each serving with 1 teaspoon of walnuts and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Serve immediately.
Experiment with other fruit such as apples.
